Regina's--My Favorite Eatery Here in Italia

Chef Walter in the kitchen

Walter and some friends jabbering rapidly in Italian in the back of the restaurant. His daughter Rebecca is sitting with them at the table working on homework.

Walter's wife Gabrielle takes our order and serves the food. She and Walter have become good friends to us.

Penne Aurora--my absolute favorite. I've never eaten anything like it!

Margarita Bruschetta.  Delicious.

Front of the restaurant--if the little man is outside, they are open.

Heart

FMS Heart--Jackson is the sweetest of my four children. He is my cuddler and the one who is the nicest to his siblings.

Foggy New Year

One of the things about Italy that surprises me the most is how perpetually foggy this country is!! Many, even most days when it's colder, are so foggy that we can't even see our cars parked fifteen feet out our door. And the fog here NEVER burns off as the day progresses. It is the strangest weather! When it is very cold, the fog freezes in the air and on to anything it touches. Last winter, this strange phenomena occurred almost every day. It was bizarre! We weren't surprised to start out the New Year under a blanket of fog. A shot out my kitchen window was my FMS photo of the day.
